VOR/DME Navigation for Aviation

Calculate an aircraft's current geographical latitude and longitude (sometimes also called a fix) from the known position of a VOR/DME station, the station's magnetic declination, the aircraft's magnetic radial FROM that station, and its DME distance. Optionally, enter the aircraft's height above the station to correct the DME slant range to horizontal distance.

VOR/VOR, VOR/NDB, NDB/NDB Navigation for Aviation

Calculate an aircraft's current geographical latitude and longitude (sometimes also called a fix) from the known positions of two VOR stations, two NDB stations, or mixed VOR and NDB stations, and either the VOR station's magnetic declination, or for an NDB, the local magnetic declination, preferably at the aircraft's current position, plus either the aircraft's magnetic radial FROM the VOR station, or the relative ADF bearing measured clockwise from the aircraft's nose, and the magnetic heading of the aircraft at the time of that ADF reading.

DME/DME Navigation for Aviation

Calculate an aircraft's current geographical latitude and longitude (sometimes also called a fix) from the known positions of two DME stations, and the slant range distance from both of them. Optionally, enter the height of the aircraft above each DME station, which allows to correct the slant range into horizontal distance, and which may improve the accuracy of the fix.
